Has participated in National and International activities, where he has represented Albania with dignity.
In May 24 in Athens, Greece, he wins the second place. Nominated second to the Champion of Balkan
In Balkan Championship (April 28- 30, 2006), held in Ēarēak (Serbia) he takes the third place. This Activity was organized
by IFBB.
In the Activity held in Macedonia (Skopje) on April 27-29 he wins the fourth place.
In the activity held in Thessalonķki in Greece in November 2007, organized by INBA (International Natural Bodybuilding
Association, where he won the fourth place in the international scale.
Body Building
Nikollaq Muēo, competes in podiums and competitions, not only in Albania, but abroad as well where he wins many prices
Already Gjirokastra and Labova e Kryqit in particular, has the right to boast that in a sport which was non grate, due
to the demonstration of nakedness, called in English Body Building, translated in Albanian as Developing of muscles has a
typical representative, who tries, demonstrates, reaches titles of the high rank in the international scale, bringing to the
town and Albania the silver medal. A man symbolized by the specialists as the Hercules of Gjirokastra, whose idol is the
magical, the wonder maker and the paragon of the muscular beauty Stiv Rivers, who plays the role of the so much portrayed
for his beautiful legends, the legendary HERCULES, bringing the mythological character giving his muscular beauty artistic
shape;
Nikollaq Muēo competes in podiums and competitions, not only in Albania where he re wins prices, but also in Macedonia,
Hungary, Serbia, Greece… If he was given the chance, he would do more and give more. His CV is rich, many times
Champion of Albania since the year 2003
In December 9, 2003 in Tirana he was declared a national champion for the ages over 40 years and second to the champion
for all ages. There were ambitious competitors.
Body building is a beautiful sport which it is practiced during the time by both sexes. It is an ancient sport, as ancient
as the world itself. The theory of physical rejection applied by the Spartans, who selected the presence, eliminated in a
form or another the weak, rachitic, non muscular, who were not permitted to take part into in the representative military
phalanges, or in the demonstrations of gladiators, where along the art of the fighting techniques was demonstrated the physical
and muscular beauty.
This turned these arenas of gladiators into spectacular performances, where people, particularly the wealthy, got entertained
and felt spiritual satisfaction. In a novel of Joyce a very interesting fact is cited, which brings the physical greatness,
architectural musculature of the men like Hercules, where he draws a parallelism between the men of muscular presence of the
antiquity and the men of the present time, the time he lived in, where he cites that the present man with his weakness in
no way can be compared with the muscular man of the old ages.Therefore Joyce looked down upon this illustrated fact with great
contempt. Hercules, Ulysses and others like them were unreachable people.
Why did I use this illustration? Men like Nikollaq should be focused by the media, to be published, to be taken as an
example, to be honoured, to be triggered in order to reach the peaks and seen by the point of the human health they should
be sponsored. Does this happen? Not at all… As the local government have shown indifference towards this active
element that is very fond of this great demonstrating art, he worked for many years abroad and accomplished an individual
project to serve the town of Gjirokastra, the physical beauty of its inhabitants. It is the duty of the great companies which
develop in this region to give their contribution by sponsoring, even more they should pay a tax to come to the assistance
of art, sport because without art and sport there will be no culture and no progress. The organs of local governing must focus
their mind to this element it is not the duty of the artist, the sportsman to seek in an individual way for sponsors. He strives
for social welfare for the historical culture and memory.
